Elements of A Good Real Estate Listing

Whether you’re a new real estate agent eager to learn the basics of creating good real estate listings or an experienced agent looking for ways to improve your listings, read on to find out what are some elements of a good sales listing!

1. Information and Details

The first and arguably most important element of a good real estate listing would be a well thought out, detailed description of the property. When selling a property, look for any unique characteristics that potential clients would appreciate and highlight them in your listing. Be sure to include the necessary details about the property such as how many square feet it is, how many rooms and toilets it has, its price, location, nearby amenities and other information that the property-owner would like to highlight.

When clients look for a new property, being able to see and visualise the property well before they head down is a big plus. Ensuring that you attach plenty of photos to support your property description is a good way to facilitate the viewing of the property listed. Engaging the professional services of a real estate photographer or videographer to capture the property in the best possible manner will definitely be a bonus and boost the impressions that potential clients have of the property as well as your services when they are met with beautiful, professional photographs of a property that they may be interested in.

2. Social Media

Utilise social media to your advantage to boost your listing. Hop on popular trends on TikTok and Instagram to put together creative, quirky and informative videos and utilise relevant and popular real estate hashtags in order to boost the reach of your listing. Having an online presence with frequent updates of property for sale will also be beneficial to attract an audience interested in purchasing property and looking for a good deal to tap on.

3. Call to Action

When creating your listing, having a strong call to action is imperative to drive sales. Don’t forget to provide potential clients with the information they need to contact you easily! Proof-read your listing and ensure that it is written professionally while highlighting the most important and attractive aspects of your property, before ending with a strong call to action to generate more leads and interest. A well-written, grammatically sound and convincing description contributes immensely to a good impression of both the property and your reputation as a real estate agent.
